We held Morgan's second senior session this fall for something a little different than her warm, bright summer session!
For this session, Morgan wanted a country, fun, outdoor vibe as well as some time at the school softball field. I think she got just that and some!
We met at her neighbor's farm that is beautifully situated in Shade Valley. The trees were justing starting to turn into peak fall color and the sunlight was still a mix of the summer golden hour and the fall faded light.
Morgan is always a fun person to take photos of because she is just so easy going, casual and photogenic. Seriously-- I don't think Morgan takes a bad photo! She has the sweetest smile.... but a killer serious face, too.
Morgan cracked me up the whole time and just makes me smile from her contagious smile. We had fun exploring the farm and making even the oddest places the perfect location for a senior photo. If you don't believe me, look at the photo in front of the woodpile or on the backyard swing.
After some fun at the farm... we traveled to the school to capture some images of Morgan there. You would never know it, but it was Reading Under the Lights that evening at the football stadium and there were hundreds of people at the field while we were capturing these. I don't know that I have ever seen such perfect sky and light at the school, but it truly was perfect. Morgan even got her portraits down at the softball field. We laughed because she got the custodial staff to put up the backstop behind home plate after asking them a few times. Just another reason why our custodians are the best! It was pretty dark by the time we made it to the softball field.... but a little editing and you don't even know!
I look forward to capturing Morgan's cap and gown photos in the spring and seeing her more at senior model team sessions throughout the year.
Enjoy the rest of your senior year Morgan! It has been a pleasure capturing these sweet portraits for you!
